CDNS Gets Free Deposit of Rs 670 Billion in Q3 FY21
Islamabad: In the most recent three quarters, from July 1 to April 25, the current fiscal year 2020–21, a free deposit of Rs670 billion was made to the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS).

To encourage saving and advance the nation’s saving culture, the CDNS has set a goal annual collection collection of Rs 249 billion from July 1 to June 30 for the year 2020–21, down from Rs 352 billion for the year 2019–20, a senior CDNS official told APP here on Tuesday.
According to him, the CDNS had set a target annual collection goal of Rs 352 billion for the 2019–20 fiscal year as opposed to Rs 350 billion for the prior fiscal year, 2018–19.

The top CDNS official stated that National Savings has paid its customers Rs 128 billion over the last four months, and the remaining Rs 32 billion of the total of Rs 160 billion will be paid by May 30, 2021.
He stated that the government has already canceled the Rs 40,000 reward bonds and that CDNS has returned to investors the Rs 258 billion in encashments from the previous fiscal year 2019–20.

He claimed that the CDNS has created fresh opportunities for both public and private investment in order to track the nation’s economy and guarantee financial system transparency.
