Roshan Digital Accounts Bring Cash Inflows of USD 1 Billion
According to a news report from Karachi, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared that foreign exchange inflows through the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) had surpassed the USD 1 billion mark in a little more than seven months.

The central bank made this announcement via its official Twitter account, where it was also revealed that an event is being planned to show appreciation for the Pakistanis living abroad and their wonderful response to the programme.
In addition, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the SBP of Pakistanis living abroad for their ongoing assistance in boosting inflows of foreign currency into the country.
RDA inflows are said to have risen every month from the initiative’s launch in September 2020.

Twenty banks have reportedly joined the RDA and are working to ensure its success, according to banking sources.
