CDWP Approves Project Rs. 3.72 Billion and Refers to ECNEC
One development project for a total of Rs. 3.72 billion has been approved by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP), and another project worth Rs. 89.56 billion has been submitted to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for consideration.

The Village Rehabilitation Program (VRP) under Umbrella Program of COVID-19 Responsive and Other Natural Clematis Control Program, Sub-component No. 3 National Program for Water & Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Sub-component No. 4 National Program for Improvement in Local Infrastructure Livelihood, valued at Rs. 3,720 million, was presented in the meeting and approved by CDWP.
The initiative aims to provide 54,615 of the households surveyed in five districts with sanitation drains, brick paving systems, and access to safe drinking water and latrines.

The development activities highlighted above aim to improve the nation’s water supply and sewage systems in order to promote institutional reforms and to inform and mobilise the public in preparation for the future.
