CDWP Clears 10 Development Projects Worth Over Rs. 87 Billion
During the meeting on Monday, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) which was presided over by Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, approved Ten development projects totaling Rs 87.17 billion.
Ten initiatives from the Ministries of Housing and Works, National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, Communication, Science & Technology, and Higher Education Commission (HEC) were all taken into consideration during the conference.
The forum approved the building of Pun Panjgur-Gichak-Awaran Road, District Awaran at a cost of Rs 29,638 million. The reconstruction of Mangopir, at a cost of Rs 3,190 million, and the reconstruction of Turbat-Mand Road from M-8 to Iranian Border-Radeeq.

Additionally, it approved the completion of the Niheng Bridge at Rodbun, District Kech, which cost Rs. 673 million, the 26 MW Shagharthang Hydropower Project, which cost Rs. 17,972 million, and the (SIRA) which cost Rs. 2,043 million.
The conference also approved the creation of the National Forensic Science Laboratory at a cost of Rs. 1,978 million, the construction of Ziarat Town at a cost of Rs. 5,558 million, a Cancer Hospital in ICT at a cost of Rs. 3,406 million, and the first phase of the Gwadar Safe City Project.
The Secretary of the Planning Ministry, the Chief Economist, members of the Planning Commission, and representatives from the other ministries and divisions all attended the meeting.
