Center Removes All Jams of Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway Scheme
Karachi: The federal government has removed all financial and technical obstacles to the construction of the 306 km Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, described as the largest project in the development program announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Dad gave Sindh last month.

A recent meeting of the Public-Private Partnership, chaired by the Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, discussed a number of topics, including Sukkur-Hyderabad highway project is having trouble taking off.
With the new development, sources said, the project could be officially launched in the current month to proceed with further procedures.
Meanwhile, a source familiar with the development said the project will see the construction of a 306-kilometer green controlled-access highway on a build-operate- transfer (BOT) at a cost of Rs 191 billion.

This will be the largest project in the Sindh development program announced by the Prime Minister in April, he said, adding that the business feasibility study as well as the structure of the transaction has been approved with much hope that it will hit the market. in May 2021. The package will also ensure the provision of 3G and 4G internet services to 3.7 million people and fiber optic connections to 1.2 million people.
