Centre to Aid Punjab to Accelerate Process of Industrial Estates
According to news reports, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood stated that the federal government would provide all assistance available to Punjab for the colonization of industrial estates in Lahore.

Advisor Dawood met with the Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mian Aslam Iqbal, to discuss the establishment of industrial estates and an expo center in Sialkot, the construction of an interchange on the motorway to link Quaid-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura, and the colonization of industrial estates in the province.
The meeting took place in the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) office, and Dawood and Iqbal served as co-chairs. Members of the meeting also agreed to impose fines on individuals who have not developed their industries on the assigned land within the specified time frame.

In addition, the Federal Board of Investment (FBI) and Punjab Board of Investment (PBI) agreed to develop a joint one-window facility to address investor complaints. Minister Aslam stated that each divisional headquarters must have an exhibition hall.
