Chief Minister of Sindh Supports Safe City Project
The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, recently gave his approval for a Rs. 30 billion safe city project that calls for the installation of 10,000 CCTV cameras throughout Karachi.

However, it will be carried out in three stages, each of which will take 12 months to complete, beginning with the following fiscal year in 2021–2022.
This choice was made on Friday as the CM presided over a meeting to assess the status of the Safe City Project.
The technical and financial proposals from NRTC have been submitted, and it has been noted in the meeting reports that the assessment committee needs to assess them.

Also, the CM approved the formation of the nine-member technical committee that reports to the CEO of the safe city project and is responsible for assessing the NRTC proposal.
