Chinese Province Announces Visa-Free Entry for Tourists
Hainan, a province of China, has resumed visa-free admission for 59 countries. As the pandemic disrupted routines worldwide for three years and made it impossible to travel outside of cities.

Tourists can benefit from a 30-day free visit without a Chinese visa, provided they book their trip through travel companies established in Hainan.

Visa-free entry is available for usage for business, travel, family visits, medical care, exhibits, and sporting events.

Due to COVID-19, China banned travel on international level and no longer allows international travel beginning on March 28, 2020. However, the country transitioned from “zero-Covid” to “living with Covid” in December 2022, and finally, as per the revised confirmation, the country has opened up to foreigners in what appears to be the “end of Covid era”.
