Chorus of Complaint against Mini-Budget Joined by PTI Allies
Islamabad: According to our sources, the National Assembly began debating the controversial Finance (Supplementary) Bill, often known as the mini-budget, on Tuesday. Most PTI aliases joined cries of protest on the potential implications of the recently proposed budget.

This budget would exacerbate Pakistan’s financial woes. Shehbaz Sharif, leader of the opposition and president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, initiated the debate, followed by the allies of the ruling PTI, the Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA). Then they all asked the government to remove levies on products of daily use.

The opposition argued that Mr. Imran Khan claims that Pakistani citizens lack access to utilities, but the government attempts to levy fees on solar panels.
