Citizen Club Building in F-9 to Be Utilized as Convection
Islamabad: According to our sources, the federal cabinet has given a summary to the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The summary suggests using the F-9 Citizen Club as a convention and culture center.

In October, the CDA board approved the use of the Citizen Club facility as a convention and culture center. The summary was given to the federal cabinet for final approval following board consensus.
Prior to a few months ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the building and observed that it was not being utilized. He requested that the CDA officials propose a reasonable plan for the building’s utilization.
The edifice encompasses 22 acres of land. It is now being utilized as a Covid-19 bulk vaccination center. However, according to the sources, the vaccination center will be relocated to the next wing.
After the acceptance of the executive summary, the facility will be managed by a board of governors nominated by the federal government, according to a senior CDA official.
