Peshawar: The provincial ministries’ numerous reform plans are now being evaluated by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan for their progress in being put into effect.

In order to reach the ultimate aim of assuring enhanced service delivery to people, he has instructed the heads of departments to ensure timely execution of the measures.
Detailed presentations on the reform initiatives, including organisational restructuring, legal framework strengthening, human resource capacity building, procurement regime, service delivery/ease of doing business, e-governance, strengthening of monitoring regime, and any other specific intervention, were to be developed, according to a notification sent to the heads of the concerned departments.

Mahmood described the measures as an essential component of his government’s agenda for good governance, which aims to give the populace better access to municipal amenities.
