CM Mehmood Announces PKR 1 billion Projects for Khwazakhela
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan announced a PKR 1 billion budget for the development of Tehsil Khwazakhela in Swat, according to news sources. The budget will be used to construct the tehsil complex, modernise the hospital, and implement a larger water distribution network.

During his two-day visit to the valley, the provincial chief minister, Mehmood, addressed the crowd and announced several provincial development projects, including the construction of dams and industrial zones.
He stated that the primary objective of the provincial government is the construction of vital projects such as the Chashma Right Bank Lift Canal (CRBC), Gomal Zam Dam, and Tank Zam Dam, which would irrigate millions of acres of land in the southern regions and increase agricultural production.

He also stated that the Fatehpur Irrigation Scheme and the Guli Bagh water channel have been approved and will be implemented by the end of the year.
Moreover, he stated that work is currently underway on the Khwazakhela and Bahrain bypass routes, which will boost tourism and help locals earn a living. CM Mehmood also inaugurated the Fatehpur-Miandam road and the Shalpin road on this occasion.
