CM Wants Speedy Work on Access Roads to Tourist Sites
Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has ordered the appropriate officials to take the required steps to immediately halt illegal construction operations in Kalam, Kumrat, and other tourism destinations.
Additionally, he urged them to complete the access roads to the Malakand, Hazara, and southern regions’ tourism attractions as soon as possible.
According to a released official statement, the chief minister gave these instructions while leading a meeting to examine the status of several government projects for expanding tourism activities in the province.
The chief minister gave the necessary instructions to conduct an assessment survey of all the rest houses owned by different provincial ministries in order to transfer any eligible rest houses to the tourism department for use in promoting tourism-related activities.

Similar to this, Kumrat Development Authority’s board of directors has been informed, and after its construction codes and other pertinent items have been finalized, they will be given to the board for formal approval within a week.
