Commercial Plots Building Plan Approved by CDA-DVC
Islamabad: According to news sources, the Capital Development Authority assessed and approved building designs for many commercial plots on February 7 (Monday) (CDA).

According to the specifications, the CDA Design Vetting Committee (DVC) approved the building plans. The meeting was conducted at the CDA’s headquarters. In the meeting, the eight building design approval applications were discussed. The committee approved the seven designs during the meeting. The approved building plans are as follows:
Islamabad, Plot No. 21B, Sector G-10 Markaz
Plot No. 7, Blue Area, G-8/F-8 Designs for a school on Plot No. 125, Sector H-11 Masjid Nabvi building plan on Plot No. 1, Sector G-11/4 Apartment Complex Design, Sector E-8, Naval Complex.

The CDA convened a committee to study the CDA Ordinance of 1960, according to a pertinent news article. It was done to improve the land acquisition process. The committee intends to eliminate lawsuits and make the property purchase process transparent and public-friendly. In accordance with its charge, the committee will propose revisions to sections 2(k), 12(2)(g), and 32-A of the CDA ordinance.
