Committee Formed to Prevent Encroachments
Monday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the administration of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) formed a joint committee to prevent encroachment and report on it.
According to a notification, the extra deputy commissioner of revenue, the additional deputy commissioner (General), and the director of land and rehabilitation CDA were authorized officers under the “Government Property (Elimination of Encroachments) Ordinance 2021.”

The authorized officers would be responsible for reporting illegal occupations and encroachments on government land and removing the encroachments.
