Construction Cost Increases for Rawalpindi Projects
Rawalpindi: According to our sources, the government updated the market prices for construction supplies on December 31, resulting in a 20 to 25 percent increase. Three important infrastructural projects will be developed in Rawalpindi.

Project Concept-1 (PC-I) of the Katcheri Chowk Remodeling project was approved with a budget of Rs. 3.7 billion, which would increase to Rs. Moreover, the Rawalpindi Ring Road development cost will increase to 27 billion.
In addition, the cost of the flood channel and the Leh Expressway will increase by Rs 5 billion.

According to officials from the Rawalpindi Development Authority, the increase in the cost of materials will also increase the cost of projects (RDA).
Additionally, RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza would revise the PC 1 Katcheri Chowk Remodeling project.
