Construction of Bypass to Fix Traffic Jamming on Quetta-DG Khan
According to a news report, a southern bypass is being considered for Dera Ghazi Khan in order to improve the flow of inter-provincial heavy traffic on Quetta-Dera Ghazi (D.G.) Khan Road.

According to reports, a 12.5-kilometer bypass will be constructed to enhance traffic flow between Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan, as well as Jampur Road and Sakhi Sarwar Road. The estimated cost of the project was 3 billion Pakistani rupees. According to details given about the proposed project, the Multan-Jampur Road will be connected to the Quetta-Sakhi Sarwar Road. On display is the construction of bridges on the Manka Canal, Kachchi Canal, and DG Canal.

Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha indicated that, under the directives of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, all required precautions would be taken to preserve traffic flow and prevent accidents.
In addition, the commissioner examined the construction of a siphon on RD 242. He continued by stating that 80 percent of the job was complete. The siphons on the Kachchi Canal and the DG Canal should be completed by April.
