Construction on District Judicial Complex in Islamabad to Start
In September, city administrators will initiate building of the capital’s first judicial complex for district courts, which will house more than 90 courts.

Currently, district courts are housed in rented, modest premises in F-8, where litigants, attorneys, and judicial employees frequently encounter difficulties.
In G-11, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will now construct new proper courts.
When asked about the previous plan to construct temporary prefabricated facilities for the courts, the CDA director stated that the plan had been revised owing to security concerns, and it was now decided to construct permanent structures for the courts.
According to sources, CDA has finished the Rs 1,382 million PC-I. According to the PC-I, the project would be completed in one year. The design of the judicial complex, which will consist of three buildings, has also been finished.

In the meantime, according to a press release, the CDA chairman presided over an important meeting at CDA Headquarters, which was attended by the sessions judge (East Islamabad), the sessions judge (West Islamabad), a member of CDA engineering, the deputy commissioner of Islamabad, and other senior officials.
