Rehabilitation of Colonies, Worship Places of Minorities by KP
According to news reports, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) administration plans to construct and rebuild residential settlements and about 110 places of worship for minorities throughout the province.

On Wednesday, the Provincial Development Working Group (PDWP) approved 500 million PKR for this program at a meeting. 19 of the 110 projects are located in Peshawar, 17 in Lower Chitral, 11 in Mardan, 10 in Kohat, 9 in Abbottabad, 8 in Nowshera, 7 in Haripur and Swat, 6 in Bannu, 3 in Dera Ismail Khan (D.I. Khan), 2 in Tank and Malakand, and 1 in Battagram and Lower Dir, according to the information.

It was disclosed that a similar project is in the works for districts that have merged. In addition, projects totaling 300 million PKR will be presented at the upcoming conference. The renovation of 25 places of worship has been recognized in the tribal district. In addition, 14 projects have been proposed for the Kalash minority inhabiting in the Bumboret, Birir, and Rumbor valleys of southern Chitral.
