Construction Work on Bhara Kahu Bypass to Start Soon
According to media sources, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan declared in Islamabad that construction on the Bhara Kahu bypass will shortly commence.
The special assistant said that completion of the project is anticipated within two years. The 7.8-kilometer bypass, which is a portion of Margalla Road, will begin at Quaid-e-Azam University and traverse through state territory before merging with Murree Road near Satra Meel.
In addition, Minister of Planning Asad Umar stated that the Ghazi Barotha water project would commence within six months. The project is designed to provide 100 MGD (millions of gallons per day) of water to Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

He continued by stating that the current administration has initiated enormous development projects in Islamabad to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas.
By the end of the year, inhabitants of Islamabad will have health cards to access free medical services. In addition, four new colleges and a hospital with 200 beds will be built in the city.
