Cost of Hajj 2023 for Pakistanis will be Upto Rs. 1.175 Million
The Pakistani federal government has finalised its plan to transport pilgrims to the holy place, In time for the Hajj in 2023.
For those undertaking the Hajj this year, the price will be Rs. 1.175 million in the north and Rs. 1.165 million in the south. Prices have increased by 68 percent, or Rs 4,75,000, per pilgrim, when compared to last year.

In total, 179,210 pilgrims will perform the Hajj this year. Equal portions of this quota would go to both public and private Hajj programs.
The state of the world economy and the decline in the value of the rupee are two factors contributing to higher Hajj expenses. Moreover, given the fragile economic situation of the nation, the government would be unable to provide any subsidies.
