CPEC Western Route Hakla-DI Khan Motorway to Complete this Month
According to news sources, the Hakla-DI Khan Motorway, the western route of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), will be finished by the end of October.

In November, Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the 285-kilometer four-lane road. According to the sources, the PKR 122 billion project was to be completed in June, but was delayed due to technical and financial issues.
According to the Project Concept-1 (PC-1) of the Hakla-DI Khan Motorway, the western route motorway is constructed in five phases: phase one begins at Yarik near DI Khan and ends at Rehmani Khel, phase two begins at Rehmani Khel and ends at Kot Belian I district Mianwali, phase three begins at Kot Belian and ends at Tarap, and phase four begins at Tarap and ends at Pindi.

After completion, the project will not only reduce the travel time between Islamabad and DI-Khan, but it will also make many interior Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) regions accessible for tourism and other activities.
