Darra Elders for Start of Work on College Building
Darra Adamkhel elders have requested that construction begin on a college building for boys in the Arakhel region of Jawaki.
The advisor to the Prime Minister reviews construction work on ongoing Karachi projects.

The communication and works department’s engineer Zahidullah informed the contact officials that the college project was approved in 2004, but construction could not begin because terrorists had taken control of the area.
However, he stated that in 2017-18, about Rs 190 million was allocated for the college’s construction.

According to him, the initial bid was cancelled since no contractor was willing to do the project within the allotted budget.
The official stated that a summary of the updated PC-I amounting to Rs 260 million had been submitted for approval to the relevant authorities.
