Dastgyr Acquires $3.5 Million in Seed Capital
Dastgyr, a Pakistani B2B platform that links suppliers with small businesses, has raised $3.5 million in a seed round led by SOSV.
Dastgyr hopes to empower and elevate this group and increase their engagement by utilising a nearly flawless supply chain and financial inclusion.

It also aims to link manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers directly with Pakistan’s almost 2 million underserved retailers and millions more in other developing nations. Dastgyr will use this seed money to introduce products for financial inclusion in Q3 2021. Dastgyr is also attempting to repair a fractured supply chain.
A B2B marketplace software called Dastgyr enables retailers to place wholesale orders for more than 2,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs) with next-day delivery assurance and phone support. It was established in 2020, right when the pandemic was at its worst.

The app’s product categories include fast-moving consumer goods, stationery, smartphone accessories, and other items.
The Asian Development Bank’s venture capital arm, ADB Ventures, Seedstars, and Edgebrook Partners, all of whom were making their first investments in Pakistan, participated in Dastgyr’s seed round, which was led by SOSV.
