Deadline to Submit Property Tax Expires Today
The Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department issued a warning to property tax evaders in Lahore to pay their taxes before the end of the day to avoid difficulties and penalties, according to an official announcement.

According to the sources, the Excise and Taxation department offices will remain open late on the last day of the fiscal year (30 June 2021) in order to collect taxes and satisfy the objectives.
The E&T department has warned tax evaders that if they fail to pay their property taxes, they would face one or more of the following penalties:
- After-the-due-date surcharges that are inexcusable.
- The capture of tax cheats
- Sale or repossession of property

The agency has sent property tax challans, and individuals who have not received theirs should contact the local office. Tax challans can be downloaded at the website of the Department of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control.
