Updates about Monuments to Redecorate Haripur City
Haripur: According to a report published on Monday, March 7th, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Finance and Planning Tabina Tariq provided an update on the construction of five monuments that will enhance the city’s beauty.

According to the details, two monuments have been built and development is proceeding on three others. According to the deputy commissioner, the construction should be completed within the next months.
After the provincial government approved the idea for the redesign, e-tendering was apparently used to choose private businesses.
The Zero Point of the Bypass Road, Shah Maqsood roundabout, Chappar Road, Hazara Motorway’s Chechiyan Interchange, and Darwesh Chowk will each have a monument constructed at a cost of PKR 30 million. So far, the Darwesh Chowk and Shah Maqsood roundabouts have completed monuments.

An official disclosed that the concept of the Shah Maqsood monument was inspired by Allah’s name, whilst the motif of the Chappar Road monument incorporates Tarbela Lake and a boat, representing boating activities. The Darwesh Chowk monument was dedicated to “educational zeal.”
