Development Work on 3 Flyovers Underway in Lahore
Lahore: According to a news source, construction has begun on the highly anticipated Sheranwala Gate flyover, Ghulab Devi underpass (Ferozepur Road), and Shahkam Chowk flyover (Link Canal Road) projects.
According to reports, Chief Engineer LDA Abdul Razzaq Khan and the concerned project directors joined Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tarar of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on a visit to the project’s construction sites.

Mr. Tarar gave the Chief Engineer the go-ahead to start the construction project on time and told him that he would not put up with any delays.
DG LDA Ahmad Aziz Tarar and Chief Engineer LDA Abdul Razzaq Khan visited the Shahkam Chowk flyover project site. The flyover will be 600 meters long, and 75 Kanals of land will be purchased for the project, according to the chief engineer.

The project’s projected completion time is 10 months, and its estimated cost is PKR 4.25 billion, according to the director general, who was speaking to media representatives at the time. The flyover would also have a 10-kilometer-long network of highways.
Two bridges will be constructed over the Ruhi Nullah as part of the project, and the Defence Road will also be dualized. This will contribute to resolving the region’s ongoing traffic issue.
