DHA City Karachi Deadline for Incentive on Commercial Plots
On July 31, 2021, the deadline for receiving incentives for the construction of commercial developments in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) City, Karachi, would have passed. According to a notice previously distributed by the authorities, commercial plot owners in DHA City were granted special permission to construct an additional storey within a specified timeframe.

- Encouragements for business landowners and investors
- Permission to build an additional level for owners/investors who begin construction by February 28 and finish by July 31.
- Those that design a dedicated parking floor will also be permitted to construct an additional floor. Incentives for owners of residential plots

- On the completion of construction by the first ten to twenty residents by December 31, appealing gifts will be provided.
- Members who embrace current construction technology (LGS) will receive additional benefits.
- Special design allowance for the construction of Cul-de-Sac lots.
- Land developers interested in the building of at least 20xHouses/Villas will be incentivized to commence a project with a 30% reduction in the cost of land and an easy payment plan.
- Inhabitable areas of DHA City Karachi will have electricity by December 2020.
- All permissions will be processed expeditiously.
- Up until June 30, 2021, administrative fees will be waived for the approval of the first 100 building and site plans.
- Those who began building their homes before June 30, 2021 will be permitted to add a room with an attached bathroom to the roof.
