Railways Department to Plant Maximum Saplings During Monsoon
Azam Khan Swati, the Minister of Railways, stated in Rawalpindi that Pakistan Railways was making every effort to plant as many trees as possible across the country as part of its monsoon plantation drive.

He was on a visit to the Rawalpindi Railway Station and Railway Hospital, where he launched the monsoon tree-planting campaign by planting saplings.
During his visit to Railway Hospital, the minister inquired about patients’ conditions and examined several departments.
The minister invited individuals to participate in the plantation initiative to ensure its success.
This year, the Railways Divisional Superintendent Inamullah informed the minister that the division had planted more trees than the spring planting program goal.

Sher Afzal Raja reported that the administration of Akhuwat College had been given around 600 plants of various sorts of fruit to cultivate on campus.
In addition, he complimented the efforts of the district commissioner of Chakwal and other district administration personnel, who assisted the forest department in its successful tree-planting initiative.
