DHA Karachi Issues Cyclone Warning to Secure Material

According to a post on the authority’s Facebook page, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi administration issued a cyclone ‘Gulab’ warning to all its residents and demanded they safeguard their building supplies.

In addition, the government recommended that locals report any loose or damaged billboards, road signs, or signboards in business areas and on roads. DHA Karachi has established a helpline number (1092) to assist people and take prompt action.

According to the information on the post, the administration requested that DHA Karachi residents engaged in any type of building activity protect construction materials like as boards, bamboo, shuttering, and any other unsecured things that could cause harm to property or human lives.

In a second post on the authority’s Facebook page, the administration declared that DHA Emergency Response Teams would be available to assist people in various places. The authority also disseminated information on relief camps, rain relief and recovery centers, and information centers.
