E-11 Housing Societies Served Show-cause Notices
Islamabad: Due to violations of the building by-laws, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sent show-cause notices to each of the five housing societies functioning in E-11.
The measure was conducted in response to urban flooding in the area, which was brought on by a housing society obstructing a natural stream.

It claimed that the owners of private housing societies situated in the area had received show-cause notices from the management of the civic agency.
It stated that the impacted sector was being cleaned up by the CDA’s Sanitation, Machinery Pool, and other departments. It also stated that more trash cans had been placed in various locations throughout the region.

The Building Control Authority has also been ordered by the CDA administration to rigidly enforce the master plan in Islamabad. It has been highlighted that the 2005 CDA norms and regulations should be followed when building residential and commercial structures.
