E-Challan Rolled Out for Property Tax Collection in Sindh
According to news reports, the Sindh Excise and Taxation (E&T) department has launched an online tax deposit option to make it easier to pay property, professional, and car taxes.
Mukesh Chawla, the Sindh E&T Minister, urged those who had not paid their property, professional, and vehicle taxes to do so by the end of the current fiscal year (FY 2020-21).

The property E-challans have been issued, the minister added, and anyone who hasn’t received one should get in touch with their local district excise and tax offices. Additionally, businesses can register by going to www.excise.gos.pk.

Minister Chawla gave the excise and taxes authorities instructions to speed up tax collection in order to hit yearly goals. He also recommended reaching out to taxpayers through all appropriate and readily accessible promotional channels to implore them to pay their taxes on time.
He also said that people should use the online capability to pay their taxes in order to avoid any awkward situations. The cops were also instructed to assist the taxpayers as needed and work with them wherever possible.
