ECC to Suppor Starting Four Mother, Child Hospitals in Punjab
Islamabad: A technical supplemental grant (TSG) for the construction of four Mother and Child Hospitals (MCH) in Punjab is likely to be approved at a recent meeting of the federal cabinet’s economic coordination committee (ECC).

According to details, hospitals would be erected in Attock, Layyah, Rajanpur, and Sialkot for a total cost of Rs 23, 425, 960, of which Rs 11,712, 980 million will come from the federal government and Rs 11,712, 980 million from the province.
These four projects were filed by the Punjab government, and the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) earlier authorized them for cost-sharing funding by the federal and provincial governments.

A summary of the electricity division’s request for approval of revisions to the facilitation agreement and guarantee agreement with Kot Addu Power Company will also be discussed by the ECC (KAPCO).
In light of the Covid-19 scenario, it is important to note that the cabinet division has asked responsible ministries to make sure that only necessary attendees are present at the meeting.
