Egyptian Corporations Soon Invest in Pakistani Real Estate Market
ISLAMABAD, December 22, 2022- A group of Egyptian investors met Pakistan’s finance minister and showed interest in Pakistani real estate market.
According to news reports, a delegation of Egyptian investors met Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the federal minister for finance and revenue, in Islamabad and expressed interest in making investments in Pakistan’s real estate industry. Senator Dar was eager to invite Egyptian businessmen to invest in Pakistan, particularly in the real estate sector, and he assured them that they would receive all the support they required. The minister expressed his desire to strengthen bilateral trade at a meeting with Mr. Tarek Hamdy, CEO of Eighteen Elite Real Estate, a project of well-known Egyptian tycoon Mr. Naguib Sawiris.
Minister Dar was briefed by Mr. Hamdy on his business and the previous telecoms and real estate projects it has with Pakistan. The minister thanked Mr. Sawiris for his assistance and said the present administration is making every effort to make it simple for foreign investors to travel to Pakistan and take advantage of the country’s economic possibilities.

It is significant to note that many foreign businesses, particularly those from Saudi Arabia, desire to invest in the Lahore Central Business District Development Authority’s (LCBDDA) Central Business District (CBD), which is managed by the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), and (LCBDAA). Long-term investments will be made to build infrastructure that is both high-rise and good for the environment.
