Ehsaas Ration SMS Registration Service Starts Today
Taxila: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr. Sania Nishtar, has announced that the Ehsaas Ration Riayat program’s SMS Registration Service (8171) would open on Friday for recipients to register.
She was speaking with journalists during her visit to Fatehjang. Officials from the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), and the local government were also present.
She stated that the registration procedure for eligible homes and grocery store owners under the Ehsaas Ration Riayat program proceeded nationwide via the web portal and that the SMS service of 8171 for registering eligible buyers would begin tomorrow.

Dr. Sania stated that as many as 20 million households identified by the recently concluded Ehsaas survey would profit from the initiative and that 130 million people, or 53% of the population, would gain in total.
She informed reporters that families with a monthly income of less than $50,000 were also eligible to register.
