LAHORE: Former PIA Society president Muhammad Asghar Khokhar has reportedly been arrested by Anti-Corruption Lahore in connection with a property dispute involving the alleged occupation of a house belonging to an elderly woman.
According to reports, Khokhar was taken into custody after his interim bail was withdrawn. The case was scheduled to proceed before Magistrate Naeem Wattoo, with further legal proceedings expected following the arrest.

The dispute concerns house number 03-23, which has been identified as belonging to 80-year-old Farida Yasin. Anti-corruption officials allege that the property has remained occupied for around a decade.
A case was registered against Khokhar and other individuals following a complaint filed by Yasin. She has reportedly approached the authorities several times seeking the return of her property and resolution of the possession dispute.
Yasin has also sought official assistance in recovering the house. According to the reported details, she has yet to regain possession of the property.

The allegations remain subject to the legal process. The reported arrest does not establish guilt or determine ownership of the disputed property. The court proceedings will determine the legal position of the accused and the next steps in the case.
The matter also highlights the importance of maintaining complete property records. Ownership documents, transfer records and other relevant paperwork can play an important role when possession or ownership disputes arise.
Property owners facing similar disputes should use the appropriate legal and government channels and maintain secure records of their property documents. Any claims regarding ownership or unlawful occupation should be resolved through the relevant legal process.
