Experts Confirm Eid-al-Fitr 2023 Dates in Pakistan
According to the Ruet-i-Hilal Research Council (RHRC), Pakistan will observe Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday, April 22.
The committee meeting is slated to take place on Thursday, April 20, when it will be possible to see the Shawwal moon, according to the council’s Secretary-General, Khalid Ijaz Mufti. The likelihood of seeing the moon that evening, though, is remote.

Eid-al-Fitr will be observed on Friday, April 21, if the moon is seen on Thursday. Mufti, however, asserts that it is more possible that Eid will be observed on April 22 following a 30-day fast observed during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the council, the moon will be born on Thursday, April 20, at 9:13 a.m. Pakistan time. The Mufti further said that any claims of seeing a crescent moon on April 20th would be false.
The celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month during which Muslims fast from dawn until dusk. Prayers, family get-togethers, and feasts are customarily held to commemorate the event.

The exact day of Eid-ul-Fitr is determined by the lunar crescent, which signals the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal.
