Facebook Hits Record Two Billion Active Users in February 2023
Facebook recorded a record 2.93 Billion users in the third quarter of 2014, a 4% increase over each year.
The parent company of Facebook and Instagram known as Meta, has just released its quarterly profits report for the fourth quarter of 2022. According to statistics cited in the report by Meta, Facebook has broken a record by surpassing 2 billion daily active users.

This announcement comes at a time when Meta is beset by a multitude of problems including legal challenges to its advertising policy, rising competition from other social programmes, and a falling share price.
As a sigh of comfort for Facebook, this data indicates that both new and existing users are engaging with the service on a regular basis. Facebook’s user base growth has been suffering due to the rising popularity of TikTok.

The number of daily active Facebook users was around 2.96 billion at the end of the third quarter, and approximately 2.93 billion at the end of the fourth quarter. In addition, it was discovered that Facebook saw a 4% year-over-year growth in 2022.
