Faisalabad: According to media reports, Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General (DG) Dr. Faisal Asim has advised buyers to verify the legal status of housing schemes before purchasing plots to avoid frauds and cons.

The FDA has instructed the management of private housing societies to post customer-facing informational boards at the societies’ main entrances. The director general has ordered the officials of the FDA Town Planning Directorate to adopt this regulation within one week. In addition, a certificate of conformity will be supplied upon completion of the assignment. Providing more information, the displayed data includes:

Total territory covered by the housing association
A map of the approved housing development area
Approval by the FDA
Plot info
Location of land designated for public structures
Mortgaged property
