FBR Fails to Instrument Cashback Facility for Customers of Big Retailers
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has not given customers of big retailers the cashback facility that lets them get back 5% of the sales tax they paid as cashback on eligible goods bought at approved outlets of Tier-1 retailers.

Sources say that the procedure for giving customers cash back will apply to customers of Tier-I retailers who have connected their stores to the board’s computerized system for real-time sales reporting.
All customers of Tier-1 retailers can get back 5% of the sales tax they paid on eligible goods, which is the same amount of tax that is written on the invoice from Tier-1 retailers.

On the other hand, the customer can redeem the earned amount within one month of his purchases that have been added to his FBR wallet account at any approved outlet, which will refund the amount that has been added to the customer’s wallet account after making sure that the earned amount has been transferred from the customer’s wallet account to the approved outlet’s wallet account.
