FBR Increases Duty on Export of Pharmaceutical Products
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has increased duty drawback on the export of pharmaceutical products, including as human and animal medications (tablets or capsules), injections/injectables, intravenous solutions, and liquids/powder/syrups/drops/granules in bottles/sachets.

According to the announcement, the amount of customs duty reimbursement on the export of pharmaceutical products ranges between 0.30 percent and 2.10 percent of the FOB value.

The FBR has enhanced duty drawback on the export of cricket and hurling balls through a separate announcement dated June 7, 2021.
