FBR will Collect 17% Taxes through Bills by Non-Filer
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has declared that additional taxes of up to 17% will be added to the bills of unregistered industrial and commercial consumers who do not file tax returns.

PM Imran Khan is certain that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will fulfill the year tax collection target of 5,829 billion rupees without difficulty.
According to a notification published by the FBR, non-filer commercial consumers would be subject to an extra tax of five to seventeen percent on their monthly power and gas bills.
It also claimed that businesses receiving invoices between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 will be charged an additional 12% tax, while those receiving monthly bills between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 will be charged an additional 15% tax.

Invoices up to Rs 10,000 will incur a 5% additional tax, invoices between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 will incur a 7% additional tax, and invoices between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 will incur a 10% additional tax.
