Federal Government Directing on Uplift of Sindh, Says Haleem
Haleem Adil Sheikh, the leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly and the Sindh vice president of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), stated in Sukkur that the federal government is concentrating on the development of Sindh.

He stated during a news conference held at the Rohri home of Syed Tahir Ali Shah, the PTI president for the Sukkur area, that construction on the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway will start shortly.
He said that Asad Umar has already begun putting the Rs 446 billion boost package into practise. He predicted that Sindh will acquire additional gas supplies, 3G and 4G infrastructure, and National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) offices.
He said that although Rs 1,650 billion had been spent on uplift projects over the previous 13 years, the federal government had provided more than Rs 1,100 billion for development projects in Sindh this year.

Haleem said that despite spending Rs 753 billion on maintaining peace and order in Sindh following the 18th Amendment, police APCs continued to be shot at.
He said Sindh’s chief minister was in charge of a “criminal” government that was to blame for the state of the province.
