ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has set December 31, 2026 as the target date for possession in Sky Garden Blocks A, B and D.

According to the authority, development work in the three blocks has entered its final stages. Officials have been directed to speed up the remaining work and ensure that essential facilities are available before possession.

Sky Garden Blocks A, B and D contain a combined 4,255 plots. Of these, 2,470 plots have been allotted to applicants. The remaining plots are yet to be allotted under the current project status.

The Housing Secretary has instructed FGEHA to complete the outstanding development work on priority. The directions also include ensuring the availability of utilities and other basic infrastructure before handing over possession.

The December 31 date provides a specific target for allottees who have been waiting for development to reach the handover stage. However, possession will depend on the completion of the required infrastructure and site works.

The development is part of FGEHA’s wider efforts to accelerate work on its housing schemes and move completed areas toward possession. The authority has been reviewing development progress across several projects to improve delivery timelines.

For existing allottees, the next key updates will be the completion of utilities, roads and other essential facilities. Buyers considering transactions in the area should also verify the allotment status, official records and applicable possession requirements before making decisions.

FGEHA’s December 31 target therefore marks an important project milestone, while the final handover remains linked to the completion and readiness of the required infrastructure.
