FGEHA to Stop Quota System for Plots Allocation
Islamabad: According to news reports, the Departmental Accounts Committee (DAC) of the Federal Government Employees Housing Body (FGEHA) said that the authority has decided to suspend the quota system for allocating plots to various groups.

FGEHA representatives presented the news to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which reviewed FGEHA’s audit report for the fiscal year 2018-19 and a report on its new F-14, F-15, and G-13 towers.
Among those for whom quotas have been eliminated are journalists, medics, lawyers, and other professionals. The PAC members agreed with the idea of ending the quota-based allocation of plots.

The chairman of the PAC requested that the secretary of housing develop a transparent criterion limiting federal employees to one plot apiece.
