FIA Seizes 35 Files As Probe Continues in Plot Allotment Scam
Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has expanded its ongoing investigation into allegations of fraudulent land allocations against a Capital Development Authority (CDA) official, and he has detained 35 files.

The FIA sent 10 CDA officers to his I-11 last month on suspicion of allocating property fraudulently, then arrested several of the named defendants and sent him to the final business day before Eidul’s Fitr. seized 35 Land Management Office files.
The scam surfaced last August when the CDA’s Security Office seized files from seven of his facilities minutes before the Citizen’s Office’s One Window Operations Center issued a permit notice.

Using the SOP, the Citizen’s Office voted in 2017 and assigned lots to I-11 and I-12.
No votes took place after that, but his two lots that were available as vacant lots after the 2017 vote were later marked as allocated, according to sources. However, sources say it could confuse numerous CDA officials if the FIA conducts a thorough investigation and audit of past allocations of I-11 and I-13.
