FIA to Investigate Illegal Housing Schemes in Islamabad
According to media sources, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has decided to ask the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to examine illegal housing schemes that are using the authority’s name fraudulently to defraud citizens.

At a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Aamir Ali Ahmed and attended by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat, Chief Metropolitan Officer of the Municipal Corporation of Islamabad (MCI), and other relevant officials, the aforementioned decision was made.
In the conference, it was resolved that housing schemes that defraud people by using the CDA’s and the Islamabad administration’s names should be punished severely.

Separately, while speaking to the media, the CDA Chairman stated that several development programmes have been begun in the industrial regions of Islamabad and Kahuta to assist the industrial sector. Under this development plan, the Sectors I-9 and I-10 Industrial Areas, the Kahuta Triangle, and the Islamabad Dry Port Road would receive road reconstruction.
