Five Uplift Programmes Approved for Sahiwal
An estimated cost of Rs 2.609 billion was approved by the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party for five development programmes in diverse sectors.

These plans were accepted at the 26th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for the current fiscal year 2020–2021, which was chaired by Abdullah Khan Sumbal, the chairman of the Planning & Development Board.
The development plans that were approved included building a training lab at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (Revised) for Rs. 1.532 billion, a flyover at the Jhal Road Railway.

Crossing to Sahiwal City (Revised) for Rs. 741.544 million, a flyover on GT Road Gujranwala at Aziz Cross Gujranwala (Revised PC-II) for Rs. 191.821 million, and hiring consultants to establish a directorate.
