Flyover and Underpass Projects at Cavalry Ground Purposed by LDA
Lahore: According to the reports, Lahore Development Authority has given Project Concept-1 (PC-1) (LDA). This project included both the flyover and the Cavalry Ground underpass. It has been submitted for final approval. The overall value of the project will amount to Rs 2,85 billion Additionally, the third project will be presented for approval.

National Engineering Services Pakistan estimates the cost of the project (NESPAK). According to the project proposal, a full-height underpass would be constructed at Khalid Butt Chowk next to the Cavalry Ground.
Additionally, a single flyover will be constructed towards Defense Mor at Ghoda Chowk. There will be a signal-free traffic corridor, hence lowering travel times. Director General of the LDA, Aziz Ahmed Tarar, authorized the design, after which LDA Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan sent the PC-1 to the Punjab Government.

PC-1 will be presented at the next Provincial Development Working Group (PDWG) meeting. The project will be funded by the Punjab government through the Lahore Urban Infrastructure Development Sector.
