GB Government to Establish Tourist Cities in Diamer and Baltistan
Islamabad: Gilgit According to news reports, the administration of Baltistan has decided to establish three tourism cities in the Gilgit, Baltistan, and Diamer divisions. Khalid Khursheed, the chief minister, and Imran Khan, the prime minister, have already discussed the development of tourist cities.

Depending on the particulars, each region will include one tourist city. Official concept papers for the development of these cities have been drafted. The appropriate procedures for selecting locations and providing facilities will reportedly be implemented.
The chief minister also revealed that private investors will be invited to invest in these tourism cities under government supervision in order to capitalize on the enormous profit possibilities.

According to Prime Minister Khursheed, Skardu would initially be developed as a tourist destination. According to his announcement, more hotels, motels, and guesthouses would be constructed in Skardu to meet the lodging needs of travelers.
